Fiddly bits

Finally got off my ample Bengali ass and updated the links section (that's the sidebar that runs along the left--right? dunno, I have the equivalent of dyslexia when it comes to directions and numbers--of the blog). There's a small Reference Shelf with a strongly desi flavour; Addictions has a whole bunch of freshly added blogs. Go visit, especially The Mumpsimus, who does a better job than I do, Gunga Din, wot? And Manjula Padmanabhan, who used to run a freakishly good website yonks ago and is now back in the saddle again at Marginalien. And Caferati, which hopes to do for Bombay's writers what the adda did for Calcutta in the good old, dead old days. And Pepys' Diary, which takes a simple idea--post one page of Pepys' Diary for every day of the year--and turns it into pure joy. And, and, and...oh well, go see for yourself.
